Grade 8+ The Journey

The Journey is a small group for those in grade 8 and up who have not yet completed Confirmation. During the Journey, students will experience different elements of the Christian faith and explore how they connect with those truths. Students will walk through the Journey with an adult mentor whom they help to select. The Journey will gather at 10am on Sunday mornings (unless otherwise announced) and will conclude by noon (end of the 2nd service). The Journey will last the duration of the school year. Students who chose to be confirmed will participate in the Confirmation ceremony on Pentecost, 2012 The Journey will also include a variety of field trips, retreats, and special events. Once you have your site set up, you may want to consider setting up security roles or user registration so that you can have pages or info that is only available to certain groups (such as staff, volunteers, certain small groups, etc.)
